Saint Mary & Saint Finnan Church

Pen on Paper, 12.5" x 14.5"

The artwork captures the church of Saint Mary and Saint Finnan in Glenfinnan, Scotland. Set overlooking the shores of Loch Shiel, the same shores that witnessed the beginning of Bonnie Prince Charlie’s Jacobite rebellion in August 1745. Built as a memorial chapel to the MacDonalds that gave Bonnie Prince Charlie sanctuary prior to the Jacobite rising.
