Set overlooking the shores of Loch Shiel, the same shores that witnessed the beginning of Bonnie Prince Charlie’s Jacobite rebellion in August 1745. Built as a memorial chapel to the MacDonalds that gave Bonnie Prince Charlie sanctuary prior to the Jacobite rising.
